Barbara Carpenter, Senior Associate, specializes in media relations, TV tour coordination and media training. Recent projects include national launches for York Wallcoverings’ Candice Olson Collection, Gardus Inc., the National Program for Playground Safety Kid Checker program, Hitchcock Fine Home Furnishings, Roc-lon TLC, Krylon® Contractor, as well as publicity for authors of: The Healthy Home Workbook, Healthy Mother - Healthy Child, Organizing Plain & Simple, ManSpace, Food Fights, Heading Home with Your Newborn, America 24/7 States Series, and A Day in the Life of Africa.
Carpenter began her career as an account executive at The Rowland Company in New York where she became director of the media tour department coordinating accounts such as the Man-Made Fibers Producers Association, Glenlivet Scotch, Chesebrough-Pond’s, American Tobacco, Eastman-Kodak and Duncan Hines.
As a Sr. Account Executive at Stawasz Public Relations, a division of Jordan, Case, Taylor & McGrath in New York, Carpenter created media campaigns for Tums Antacid Calcium - NFL Neutralizer of the Week, Tonka Pound Puppies introduction, SEGA home video system, Beirsdorf-Nivea and the national Pillsbury Bake-Off Competition.
Carpenter holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Florida. |
